SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Evangel University’s Graduate Leadership Programs has announced that two Doctor of Strategic Leadership (DSL) graduates, Dr. Stephan DeLorenzo (DSL ’26) and Dr. Miranda Lewis (DSL ’26), along with Program Director Dr. E. Ashley Newcomb, have been selected to present at the International Leadership Association Global Conference 2026. The conference will be held in October in Toronto.
Selection to present at this international conference represents a significant academic and professional achievement, highlighting the strength and impact of Evangel’s Doctor of Strategic Leadership program.
Each presenter will deliver an independent session contributing to contemporary leadership scholarship and practice:
- Dr. Stephan DeLorenzo will present “Why Teams Struggle and How Leadership Habits Quietly Fix It,” exploring how subtle leadership behaviors influence team dynamics and performance.
- Dr. Miranda Lewis will present “Servant Leadership and Organizational Culture,” examining the role of servant leadership in shaping healthy, integrated organizational environments.
- Dr. E. Ashley Newcomb will present “When Followers Go Quiet: Ethical Leadership, Resilience, and the Risk of Silent Breaking,” addressing the critical intersection of followership, ethical leadership, and organizational resilience.
“This is an incredible honor for our program,” said Dr. Newcomb. “To see our graduates contributing to global leadership conversations at this level reflects both their dedication and the practical foundation of the DSL program.”
The International Leadership Association conference brings together scholars, practitioners, and leaders from around the world to advance the study and practice of leadership across sectors.
