SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Department of Kinesiology at Evangel University has announced its 2023 graduation awards. The awards were presented during the traditional undergraduate baccalaureate service held on Thursday, May 4 in the Robert H. Spence Chapel.
The department offers allied health students the opportunity to learn the art of patient care and injury prevention with degrees in athletic training, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
Other Kinesiology students earn majors in exercise science, sport management, and physical education (with K-12 certification).

The Class of 2023
Evangel University and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary celebrated 579 graduates at a joint commencement ceremony at Great Southern Bank Arena (formerly known as JQH Arena) in Springfield on May 4. Graduates earned a total of 24 doctoral, 154 master’s, 357 bachelor’s, and 44 associate’s degrees. The majority of the AAs are from Evangel’s James River College campus.
