Kinesiology


Kinesiology is for students who are interested in understanding the sciences related to human movement, understand the body’s physiological and biomechanical responses to exercise. You will learn how to promote fitness and a healthier, higher quality of life. Allied health students will learn the art of patient care and injury prevention. Kinesiology is also for those students interested in sport management who will work as team managers, athletic directors, sports agents and recruiters, marketing and PR professionals.

Graduates of the Kinesiology department can be found in a variety of professional settings, including teaching, coaching, sport management, exercise science, or allied health professions (Athletic training, Occupational Therapy, or Physical Therapy).

Students can participate in the Phi Epsilon Kappa Honor Society. See Clubs and Organizations for more information.
