Department of Kinesiology — 2015 graduation awards

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel University Department of Kinesiology has announced its graduation awards for 2015.

The awards were given during the baccalaureate service on Thursday, April 30, in the Robert H. Spence Chapel auditorium.

The following awards were presented:

Outstanding Graduate in Athletic Training – Kelsey Kapella from Hollister, Mo.

Outstanding Graduate in Exercise Science- Pre-Physical Therapy — Danielle Herrick from Indianola, Iowa

Outstanding Graduate in Exercise Science- Personal Training — Anthony Finzo from Willard, Mo.

Outstanding Graduate in Physical Education — Zach Kleine from Stotts City, Mo.

Outstanding Graduate in Recreation — Amanda Landolt from Springfield, Mo.

The John & Cora Irene Holsinger Award for Outstanding Student in Kinesiology — Aimee Sudek from Livonia, Mich.

A total of 514 degrees were conferred at the 57th annual Commencement Ceremony for Evangel University on Friday, May 1, 2015. This includes 403 bachelor’s degrees, 73 master’s degrees and 38 associate’s degrees, 33 of which are from EU’s James River Leadership Campus.

In addition, the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary at Evangel conferred 77 degrees during its ceremony on Saturday morning, May 2. Of those, 21 were Ph.Ds. and other doctoral degrees.
