Engineers have a strong foundation in the applied sciences and use mathematics and scientific knowledge to design solutions for technical problems. Engineers design materials, structures, machines and systems while taking cost, safety and practical limitations into consideration. Our Pre-Engineering program is designed to help students succeed in gaining acceptance to an engineering institution accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) through one of several options.
