SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Evangel University Advocates will be hosting its annual Colossal Sale this month. The sale runs from Wednesday, May 20 through Saturday, May 23. Proceeds from the sale benefit Evangel student, staff, and faculty projects.
Supporters of Evangel University can donate to the Colossal Sale starting Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15. Donations can be dropped off from 9 am to 5 pm at the Mabee Fitness Center on Evangel’s campus. Donated items should be clean and unbroken.
Items for sale include clothing, furniture, small appliances, jewelry, books, office items, toys, and more.
The Colossal Sale will be open from 9 am to 6 pm from May 20-22. On Saturday, May 23, there will be a bag sale from 9 am to 12 pm where you can fill a bag for $7.
EUA President Becky Huechteman says this sale is important to supporting the mission of Evangel University.
“Evangel University Advocates (EUA) has a unique supportive ministry to staff, faculty, and administration,” said Huechteman. “We offer the opportunity for departments across campus to apply for a project grant which will supply funding for project materials or items that are needed, but are not available in the budget. In addition, EUA funds scholarships every year for deserving students.”
