Update on Homecoming 2020
Homecoming is a treasured part of the Evangel University experience, so it is with deep disappointment that I share with you the Homecoming events scheduled for October 23-24, 2020 have been cancelled. Additionally, the President’s Club Dinner has been postponed.
Our team has examined many different options of what Homecoming might look like this year. Unfortunately, there is still uncertainty regarding what local regulations and requirements, specifically for large gatherings, might be in the coming months. With an event the size and magnitude of Homecoming, we are at a point where event reservations must be confirmed or cancelled.
As we considered different options, we consistently relied on the feedback many of you have provided. What draws us together for Homecoming is the opportunity to see each other in person – to shake hands and hug each other and invest in these relationships that have stood the test of time. A virtual event cannot replace the meaningful face to face interaction that Homecoming is known to provide. So, please know that we look forward to welcoming the classes of 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2010 back to campus to join us for Homecoming 2021 (October 22-23, 2021). It will be a celebration you won’t want to miss!
Most important is our concern for the health and safety of our entire Evangel community, both for on campus and those traveling to come to campus. Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time. We covet your continued prayers and support as the mission of our great University continues.

May God bless you and Evangel University,
