SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Department of Education at Evangel University has announced its 2022 graduation awards. The awards were presented during the traditional undergraduate baccalaureate service held on Thursday, May 5 in the Robert H. Spence Chapel auditorium.
Working with the theme “caring, committed, competent educators shape the future,” the Education Department at Evangel offers a wide range of majors for students interested in pursuing a teaching profession.
Degrees include early childhood, elementary and middle school education, with specialized majors in art, biology, business, chemistry, communication, English, math, music, social science, Spanish, theatre/speech, and physical education.

The Class of 2022
Evangel University and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary celebrated 536 graduates at a joint commencement ceremony at Great Southern Bank Arena (formerly known as JQH Arena) in Springfield on May 5. Graduates earned a total of 31 doctoral, 95 master’s, 360 bachelor’s and 50 associate’s degrees. The majority of the AAs are from Evangel’s James River College campus.
