SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Evangel University invites local employers to participate in its annual career fair on Monday, October 2 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Mabee Fitness Center, located on the northwest side of campus. The fair offers current EU students the opportunity to meet local business representatives and learn more about the job positions open to recent college graduates in the area.
Interested businesses may sign up to participate through end of day on Monday, September 25 by emailing Business Department Administrative Assistant Briana Simmons at simmonsb@evangel.edu.
Previous career fair events have featured over 40 employers, including local retail businesses, government organizations, financial and banking institutions, universities, accounting firms, nonprofits, and churches.
Door prizes will be offered to students, and all participating employers will receive a complimentary catered lunch from Evangel at the fair’s conclusion.
“This is a really great event for both local businesses and our students,” said Dr. Jeremy Harris, chair of EU’s Business Department. “Our students are engaged and appreciate the opportunity to learn more about local companies that are seeking to hire recent graduates.”
