Tell us about your career and what you do now.

I have been in vocational church ministry since 1996. I’ve been a Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor, Lead Pastor, and currently serve as an Executive Pastor.

What is your favorite memory from CBC?

My favorite memory is spending time with guys from my dormitory hall that would become lifelong friends.

How did CBC help you identify/develop your calling?

God used CBC to solidify my calling. The classroom environment, chapel services, and relationships I formed all helped me to see that I was doing exactly what God had called me to do.

How did your experience at CBC prepare you for life after graduation?

CBC was the first time that I was on my own as an adult. Living 8 hours from home helped me to grow and mature.

What advice would you give a current student preparing for the workforce?

For those preparing for vocational ministry or the marketplace, I’d say to make prayer and Bible study a habit now. Develop and grow your relationship with God first. What you will face as you enter the workforce today will demand the best of you as a Christian. Be prepared to be a witness for Christ in an ever increasingly anti-Christian world

What would you look for if you were in a position to hire a new graduate?

Just the thrill of a new adventure!  Following Christ into the place and position that He has for me in whatever career path I have chosen.
