Tell us about your career and what you do now.
I have been serving as pastor at Allison Park Church for 27 years and during this time we have grown into five locations. We have also helped to parent 30 new churches over the past 20 years.
What is your favorite memory from CBC?
Beating BBC in Basketball in overtime. We were down 16 points at halftime but came back to win in epic fashion.
How did CBC help you identify/develop your calling?
CBC taught me integrity, missiology, and Biblical preaching.
How did your experience at CBC prepare you for life after graduation?
I met my wife at CBC! Best thing ever! But, I also found a network of quality people that I have continued to do life with ever since.
What advice would you give a current student preparing for the workforce?
Remember that education is only one part of the equation. You also need experience and strong mentoring.
What would you look for if you were in a position to hire a new graduate?
I would look for someone who could point to something that they had started and led effectively.
