E. Ashley Newcomb, Ph. D. serves as the Program Coordinator for the Master of Organizational Leadership and the Doctor of Strategic Leadership programs. As Program Coordinator, Ashley’s goal is to foster an environment in which our online MOL and DSL students feel engaged, encouraged, and empowered. In addition to her program coordinator role, she also teaches in the MOL and DSL programs. Ashley has been published in Transparent and Authentic Leadership (2021), and The Nature of Biblical Followership (2023). Prior to joining Evangel University as the MOL and DSL Program Coordinator, Ashley dedicated her career to public service. She also is a Certified Coaching Practitioner and holds a black belt in Lean Six Sigma.
Ashley is married to LTC (Ret) Larry “Butch” Newcomb and has an amazing daughter. She enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and volunteering with the youth ministry in her home church. She is driven to empower others to believe in themselves.
