Scholarships are awarded based on performance/talent ability and needs within the applicable department. Fine Arts scholarships are part of our talent scholarship program, which also includes athletic awards. Please note that recipients can only qualify for one talent award. Major/minor recipients are expected to participate in University groups as a condition of their award.

Yes, as long as the student maintains a 2.0 GPA, continued participation in the Fine Arts Program for which the recipient was selected, and good standing with the department and the University. Fine Arts Scholarship recipients who change their major or minor at any future point in time will need to contact the Financial Aid Office to discuss the impact to their overall financial aid package.

Major and Minor awards range from $6,500 to $15,000 when combined with academic scholarships. Fine Arts Scholarships are awarded in conjunction with your academic scholarship. Admission and a completed audition with the area/department for which you are applying is required before your Fine Arts Scholarship is awarded.
Performance awards are for non-majors and amounts range from $500 to $2,000. Performance awards are not tied to the academic scholarship.
