Fine Arts Scholarships



Eligibility

Scholarships are awarded based on performance/talent ability and needs within the applicable department. Fine Arts scholarships are part of our talent scholarship program, which also includes athletic awards. Please note that recipients can only qualify for one talent award. Major/minor recipients are expected to participate in University groups as a condition of their award.

Requirements

Schedule your audition or portfolio review by attending a campus visit. Submitted application and audition and/or portfolio evaluation. Download program specific requirements:

Renewable

Yes, as long as the student maintains a 2.0 GPA, continued participation in the Fine Arts Program for which the recipient was selected, and good standing with the department and the University. Fine Arts Scholarship recipients who change their major or minor at any future point in time will need to contact the Financial Aid Office to discuss the impact to their overall financial aid package.

Awards

Major and Minor awards range from $6,500 to $15,000 when combined with academic scholarships. Fine Arts Scholarships are awarded in conjunction with your academic scholarship. Admission and a completed audition with the area/department for which you are applying is required before your Fine Arts Scholarship is awarded.
Performance awards are for non-majors and amounts range from $500 to $2,000. Performance awards are not tied to the academic scholarship.

Scholarships

Major Scholarships: $6,500 - $15,000*

When selected to participate in Forensics, Excalibur Yearbook, The Lance Newspaper, Debate, EU Films, EUTV, KECC Radio or Crusader Media Humanities: Art, Fine Arts, Theatre, Photography (Art Emphasis)

Performance: Non-Humanities Majors

When selected to participate in the Epiphany Fine Arts Magazine. Theology and Global Church Ministries: All Majors and Minors-Preaching/Short Sermon

Preparation criteria for Humanities

Performance: Non-Music Majors

When selected to participate in Chorale, Chorus, Sinfonia, Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, HeartSong, EU Worship, Men’s Ensemble, or Women’s Chamber Ensemble Communication: Digital Arts, Film and Broadcasting, Writing (COMM), Photography (Communication Emphasis)

Preparation criteria for Music

*Fine Arts Scholarship opportunities are only available during the recruitment process. After enrolling, students can participate on a volunteer basis when selected and positions are available.
