Delivery Method and Format: The certificate program is a hybrid program including six hours of face-to-face interaction, then six weeks of online training in the first course, followed by four months of one-on-one coaching through the project phase during the second course. The first course in the Lean Sigma program will begin 2/23/21. Courses
Each of Evangel’s academic programs is made up of a set of core curriculum, program requirements and electives. The courses listed below are just a small sample of courses that might be taken as a part of this specific program.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate is made up of the following 2 (two) courses. Students enrolled in the Master of Organizational Leadership program have the option to earn this certificate during their program.
MOL 555 Lean Six Sigma Theory, Skills, and Project (3 credits) | This course provides the theory and skills for an approach for addressing and solving business problems that meet both customer and business requirements. The Lean Six Sigma model understanding will result in effective and efficient problem-solving skills that lead to Process Optimization, Change Management, and Talent Application. In doing so the student will learn to build a culture of change through a synergetic talent pool. *Completion of the MOL 555 course by itself leads to a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate. |
MOL 556 Lean Six Sigma: Project (4 credits) | This course provides an opportunity for students to implement an organizational improvement project following the Lean Six Sigma model that meets both customer and business requirements. In the course, students will demonstrate effective and efficient problem-solving skills that lead to Process Optimization, Change Management, and Talent Application. Students participating in this project will receive regular coaching from the course instructor from the project design stage, through implementation and reporting on the project. |
