Throughout history, people have expressed themselves through art, literature, language and drama. Evangel’s Humanities Department celebrates these forms of expression and seeks to better understand them and the way they influence the human experience.

The Humanities Department endeavors to make the Evangel experience an enriching and diverse experience. Many activities are sponsored by Humanities, including Theatre productions, a student art gallery, the Community School of Arts, The Write Place and Artist Series events, among others.

What may be most exciting is the way Evangel integrates Christian themes into some traditionally secular areas of study.

Humanities minors and concentrations are offered to those interested in education, law, ministry or business world careers. These tracks offer the depth and skills needed for well-rounded students to become valued professionals.
