Admissions Standards

Master of Organizational Leadership

Hold an earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Have a grade point average of 3.0 or better in the last 60 hours of undergraduate work or last two years as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
In lieu of a minimum 3.0 GPA requirement, applicants may submit GRE scores (minimum of 290 combined and writing score of 3.0).

Note: Students will need to have an agreement with an organization to study for program projects.

Doctor of Strategic Leadership

Hold an earned master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Have a grade point average of 3.0 or better in master’s program coursework.
3-5 page essay (prompt provided)

International Students

To qualify for admission, international students whose first language is not English must earn a TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based exam, 213 on the computer-based or 79-80 on the Internet-based exam. Information on the TOEFL exam can be found at www.toefl.org

All international transcripts must be evaluated by WES (www.wes.org) or another NACES-approved service (www.naces.org).

Doctoral International students, please visit International Student Services for information on obtaining your F-1 student visa and I-20 for the August required residency.

When applying for a master’s program, send us your official transcript showing your completed bachelor’s degree. Official transcripts for any graduate level credits are also required. When applying for a doctoral program, send us your official transcript showing your completed master’s degree. Official transcripts for any doctoral level credits are also required.
- When possible, we prefer to receive transcripts electronically from services such as Parchment (Naviance), SCOIR, or through the National Clearinghouse.
- Transcripts can be emailed from your school counselor or administrator to [email protected].
- Connect with your admissions counselor when requesting graduate course transfer credit.

If your undergraduate GPA was less than 3.0, make plans to take the GRE by visiting ets.org. Make sure your test scores are sent to Evangel University using school code 6198.
