Saint Louis Brass will perform at Evangel University on March 24 at 7:30 p.m.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Saint Louis Brass will hold a concert at Evangel University as a part of the Artist Series on Monday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will take place in the Barnett Recital Hall. Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.
Saint Louis Brass was formed in 1964 by members of the Saint Louis Symphony, originally to play school concerts around the St. Louis area. Now more than 3,000 engagements later, the Saint Louis Brass is entertaining audiences worldwide. The Saint Louis Brass has hosted an annual institute for brass players, performed dozens of concert tours in the United States and Europe, and has recorded eleven CDs.

Members of the Saint Louis Brass
- Allan Dean plays the trumpet and is a professor of music at Yale School of Music.
- Ray Sasaki plays the trumpet and is a distinguished teaching professor of music at the University of Texas at Austin.
- Thomas Bacon plays the horn and performs as a soloist. He is also an international recording artist.
- Melvyn Jernigan plays the trombone and is the executive director of Primo Concerts.
- Daniel Perantoni plays the tuba and is a provost professor of music at Indiana University.
