4 Evangel University music ensembles perform at All Saints Anglican Church

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel University Orchestra, Chorale, Sinfonia and Women’s Vocal Ensemble will present a concert at All Saints Anglican Church on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m.

The concert is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the performance.

All Saints Anglican Church is located at 2751 E. Galloway St., Springfield, Mo.

In the concert, the EU Orchestra, with 50 members, and the Sinfonia, with 30 members, will perform both full orchestra and chamber orchestra works by Gould, Liadov, Respighi and Dvorak.

The groups will perform under the direction of Dr. Larry Dissmore, professor of music.

The University Chorale and Women’s Ensemble will perform works by Palestrina, Erik Esenvalds, Ola Gjeilo and Ronald Sthaeli.

The two ensembles will perform under the direction of Tom Matrone, chair of the Evangel University Music Department.
