Evangel University Phi Beta Lambda receives prestigious Gold Seal Chapter Award

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Evangel University’s Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) chapter recently received the Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit at the PBL National Leadership Conference, held in Chicago this summer. The award recognizes outstanding local chapters that have actively participated in PBL projects and programs that give students relevant hands-on experience in the world of business. Awarded chapters are ranked in the top 15 percent nationally among all university teams.

PBL is the collegiate branch of the Future Business Leaders of America. Its mission is to inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences. Evangel’s chapter, hosted through the Business Department, is one of 350 across the country.

The Business Department provides students with innovative training to prepare them for careers in a variety of field specific degrees, including Accounting, Business Education, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Nonprofit Business & Social Enterprise.

Evangel’s College of Online Learning also offers flexible online programs for a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Organizational Leadership.
