The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree at AGTS is a professional degree program for men and women actively engaged in full-time ministry. The primary purpose of the program is to enhance the participants’ professional competence in the particular area of their gifts and calling.
Practical in nature while at the same time maintaining the highest academic standards for theological reflection on the practice of ministry, the program seeks to integrate learning into the context of each participant’s ministry. Opportunities for personal and spiritual growth are woven into the fabric of the entire program to develop strong Pentecostal ministers.
Today’s vital and growing ministries demand Spirit-anointed, effective leadership. If leaders expect to remain on the cutting edge of complex, demanding and ever-changing ministry, they must prepare. The DMin program is designed to “build leaders who build the Kingdom.”
The DMin degree requires 30 credits of study. The program can be completed by any student with a ministry-related master’s degree. Students with insufficient background in ministry related studies may need to complete additional credits to meet program expectations. See AGTS Catalog for more information.
