The Public Safety Office is here to provide a safe learning environment for students, faculty, and staff by building relationships, equipping our community with relevant safety information, monitoring video surveillance, and maintaining a physical presence throughout the campus. Evangel University has a professionally trained team of public safety officers on duty 24/7, 365 days a year.

  • Sexual Assault and Rape Prevention (SHARP) – free classes for anyone interested in learning self-defense techniques, specifically targeted to address potential sexual assault.
  • Active Shooter Response – hands on training in case of an active shooter on campus.
  • Emergency Notifications – for campus-wide emergencies or threat of crimes. Messages sent through text, phone, and/or email.
  • Campus Assistance:
    • Safe Walk – anywhere on campus
    • Jump Start – for a dead vehicle battery
    • Lock Help – if keys get locked in your vehicle
    • Tire Inflation – for a flat tire

Title IX

Title IX states that: “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance”.
