Kevin is a law enforcement professional with 30 years’ experience in civilian and military law enforcement. He began his career with the Monett Police Department as a patrol officer, and retired from the Springfield Police Department in 2016 after assignments in patrol, vice/gang investigations, community policing, and the training division/range operations.

He has served as an adjunct instructor at the Drury University Law Enforcement Academy, chief ranger for the Springfield-Greene County Park Rangers, taught basic military studies at Missouri State University with the ROTC Bear Battalion, and served with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as a task force officer. He is a retired U.S. Army/National Guard first sergeant with varying overseas deployments as a cavalry scout, infantryman, and military police officer.
