Literacy is one of the basic human needs for success and a bright future. Our Master’s program will empower you as a literacy leader and equip you with strategies to lead students to ongoing success in all fields of study.

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) provides a K-12 Special Reading Certificate. Literacy students are eligible to apply for certification at the conclusion of the Master of Education in Literacy program.
