Clark Award: Dr. Jim Railey awarded Evangel’s highest honor for academic excellence
Dr. Jim Railey is the 2017 recipient of Evangel University’s top honor for faculty — the E.M. & Estella Clark Award for Excellence in Teaching, Scholarship and Service.
The Clark Award includes a cash grant and was presented on May 5, during Evangel’s 59th Annual Commencement ceremony.
Railey has been a professor of theology at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary since 1991. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Railey serves as vice president/dean of the seminary, its top leadership position under Evangel University.
Bishop Lemuel F. Thuston, a graduate of Central Bible College (1979) and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (1981), was elected at the 109th annual Holy Convocation last November to serve as Chairman of the General Assembly of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC).
As we seek to build upon an already strong history of training of Spirit-led ministers and missionaries through greater integration of our ministry and Biblical studies programs and the Assemblies of God Theological […]
Assemblies of God Theological Seminary President Mark A. Hausfeld is emblematic of the type of faculty who are teaching and, he hopes, the caliber of students who are studying at the Springfield, Missouri, school.
Recently, Africa’s Hope, a ministry of Assemblies of God World Missions, Africa region, received more than 55,000 textual resources from Evangel University (EU) in Springfield, Missouri, as a result of the 2013 consolidation of EU with Central Bible College and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, also in Springfield.
Missouri Army National Guard Assemblies of God chaplain candidate Peter K. Pyo is scheduled to graduate from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in May, after which he expects to go on active duty.
