The Center for Compassion provides an outlet for meaningful engagement and service, providing training that will impact the Church and society globally. The Center serves as a conduit for professional internships. Students will be able to experience the practical application of compassionate service while working in professional internship opportunities to have hands-on experience while earning a degree.
The Center coordinates volunteer opportunities for students to experience the selfless act of caring for others in the local community. In collaboration with Evangel’s Global Connections program, students experience global cultures and learn about other perspectives and worldviews. Inter-disciplinary minor and certificate programs will provide students access to best practice and current trends in caring for the needy and a framework for understanding compassionate care from a Christian worldview.
