To experience Evangel’s family atmosphere is to go beyond simply attending the classes and Chapels that are required of students. Life at Evangel means more than that. It’s made up of students, faculty and staff who are passionate about living with purpose, going all out and having a lot of fun along the way.
Campus is a thriving community where young Christians from all over the world take part in more than 50 clubs and organizations, 12 intercollegiate athletic teams and numerous student-led efforts each and every day. From the classroom to the cafeteria, the residence halls to the rec center, students from all backgrounds plug in and become a valued part of Evangel’s culture.
Life on Evangel’s campus brings together the best parts of the college experience. Cantrell Student Union features the recently renovated Crusader Dining Hall and Joust, which offer dining options for sit down meals or on-the-go snacks. Cantrell also features a large balcony overlooking campus for outdoor dining on those beautiful fall and spring days. One of the best ways to get a feel for what goes on around campus is to pay Evangel a visit.

Within your first hours at Evangel, you’ll get to experience our extraordinary heritage and, more importantly, make it a part of your own story. Evangel has a rich history of traditions, many of which have been around for decades, while others begin and grow larger each year.

Evangel has built a number of contending programs for conference and national titles, and with your Evangel ID card, you won’t miss a minute of the action. The ID admits students to all men’s and women’s home athletic events free of charge. Cheering on the Crusaders is a memorable part of the college experience, whether it’s with a painted face at football games or in the student section at basketball games.

Productions & Concerts
As a liberal arts school, it should come as no surprise that the arts are paramount at Evangel. With more than a dozen music ensembles and numerous students performing recitals, there’s always audible artistry filling campus. The drama program also presents theatrical productions each semester in the stunning Barnett Fine Arts Theatre. Selections range from timeless comedies and dramas to modern twists on the classics. No matter which outlet you prefer, there are a host of opportunities to perform or be entertained.
