Evangel University is a comprehensive Christian university committed to excellence in educating and equipping students to become Spirit-empowered servants of God who impact the Church and society globally.

Accordingly, while on campus, during an off-campus class, or at any Evangel University function, students, faculty, staff, and administrators are expected to: Respect God, others, and self at all times and comply with the University’s policies, laws and professional standards. Highlighted (not all inclusive) policies are listed below:

 Harassment/Violence: To secure an environment in which community members are able to flourish and to achieve their full potential, the University is committed to ensuring that no act of harassment, intimidation or violence will be tolerated in the University community

 Alcohol and Substance Abuse: The University’s position on substance abuse is simple: it is incompatible with the health and safety of our employees, and we don’t permit it. Evangel University is a tobacco, drug and alcohol-free working environment. Illegal drugs, alcohol and tobacco on campus or at sponsored events are strictly prohibited

 Gambling: Gambling activities must not be conducted on University premises. Discretion may be used in relation to small raffles for charitable purposes or fund raising activities for student mission trips.

 Conduct Outside Work: The University does not seek to dictate how employees conduct themselves in their personal lives outside work. However, unlawful, anti-social or other conduct by employees contrary to Christian beliefs or University policies which may jeopardize the University’s reputation or position will be dealt with through the disciplinary procedure. Community members are expected to conduct themselves in public and in social media in a manner that is God honoring and true to the words of Christ.

The University seeks to ensure that the work environment for its employees is supportive, one where individuality is respected, and diversity is celebrated. The University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnic background, gender, age, (dis)ability, or status as a veteran in any of its policies, practices or procedures. However, as a private religious institution owned by the General Council of the Assemblies of God, the university does have the right to exercise religious preference on all hiring practices in accordance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The Director will also teach in the program.

He or she will prepare CADD based management tools for the other departments of the University as well as serve as the university liaison during building projects.
Maintenance Carpenter IJune 2, 2022The Maintenance Carpenter I will perform repair, maintnenace, construction, and remodeling work on the structural and architectural systems of all campus buildings. This includes painting and making drywall repairs and installations, including the construction of new walls and partitions when needed.
Assistant Director of BandsJune 7, 2022The Part-Time Assistant Director of Bands will assist the Director of Bands in operations, logistics, and educational development, assist in musical arranging and field show design, assist in supervision of band leadership, attend and assist with home football game performances and semester concerts, mentor, and support the mission of faith integration.
Financial Aid CounselorJune 27, 2022The Financial Aid counselor provides information regarding financial aid regulations, policies and filing processes. He or she is responsible for interpreting and communicating this information to a variety and size of audiences for purposes of higher education access, and Evangel specific recruitment and retention purposes.
Administrative Assistant for Online and Graduate Student ServicesAugust 1, 2022The Administrative Assistant for OGSS provides support services including data entry, inbound and outbound phone calls, greeting guests, handling office email, and other general office work.
Director of Digital LearningAugust 10, 2022The Director of Digital Learning provides administrative leadership for the Digital Learning Office to contribute to Evangel's strategic initiatives and maintain accreditation standards. He or she will manage the staff, budget, policies, procedures, strategic plans, and reports for the Digital Learning Office.
Adult/Graduate Enrollment CoordinatorAugust 16, 2022The Adult/Graduate Enrollment Coordinator maintains primary responsibility for recruiting, contacting, and enrolling prospective students. He or she tracks online leads, maintains and updates the database, participates in the development of marketing strategies, meets established recruiting goals for programs of responsibility, and represents the university at on and off-campus events.
Preventative Maintenance SupervisorAugust 18, 2022The Preventative Maintenance Technician maintains a cost effective program in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's recommendations. He or she maintains comprehensive and accurate record keeping of system equipment, motors, pumps, and the Metasys facility management system components. He or she will supervise the contact cleaning of selected HVAC equipment in the resident halls and rental properties.
HVAC TechnicianAugust 18, 2022The HVAC Technician works in cooperation with the HVAC Supervisor to insure that the HVAC equipment and systems are operated and maintained in a safe, efficient and professional manner. The technician will size, purchase and install HVAC equipment, steam generating and ancillary equipment in cooperation with the HVAC Supervisor and Physical Plant Director. The technician will solicit, evaluate, schedule and monitor contractual work relating to HVAC and central heating plant equipment.
Campus Visit CoordinatorAugust 23, 2022The Campus Visit Coordinator schedules all prospective students' visits to campus and answers questions about Evangel's programs and offerings. This position oversees 30 Evangel student hosts.
Admissions CounselorAugust 23, 2022The Undergraduate Admissions counselor impacts the admissions experience for prospective students, as well as furthers the mission of the university. He or she will promote the values and strengths of Evangel University to potential students. Strategic thinking and collaboration with the faculty, staff, alumni, and various other stakeholders will masimize the effectiveness of this position.
Public Safety OfficerSeptember 9, 2022The Overnight Public Safety Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for students, staff, faculty, and visitors by protecting life and property on the Evangel campus and university owned properties. Officers are armed and the position requires applicable certifications, trainings, and physical abilities proficiencies.
Executive Assistant to the the Associate Deans of AGTSSeptember 9, 2022The Executive Assistant to the Associate Deans will coordinate the calendar, appointments, email, mail, travel arrangements, expenses, and special events at the seminary.
CustodianSeptember 9, 2022The Hall Custodian performs routine and seasonal custodial services in the assigned area according to a prescribed schedule. Routine and seasonal services include vacuuming, sweeping, spot cleaning, emptying trash, cleaning glass, dusting, replacing light bulbs, cleaning washrooms, and restocking.
Lead CustodianSeptember 16, 2022The Lead Custodian performs routine and seasonal custodial services in the assigned area according to a prescribed schedule.
