Grant programs award funds that do not have to be repaid. This is another great opportunity to help fund the cost of your education. Take the time to apply for any grants you qualify for.

For Undergraduate Students

Federal Pell Grant

The Federal Pell Grant is a federally funded grant program. The amount awarded is based on your federal eligibility and number of hours enrolled and attended.

Who: Undergraduates (including Adult Studies) with demonstrated need.
How Much: Amount awarded is based on federal guidelines and allocations.
How Long: While pursuing your first undergraduate degree.
How to Apply: Complete a FAFSA annually and Verification, if selected. Once awarded, students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Pell Grant lifetime eligibility limits students to receive Pell for 12 semesters or the equivalent of 6 years (600%). If you have exceeded the 12-semester maximum, you will lose eligibility for additional Pell Grants. Equivalency is calculated by adding together the percentage of your Pell eligibility that you received each year to determine whether the total amount exceeds 600%. You can receive up to 100% of your Pell eligibility each year, but you may receive less if you are not enrolled full-time. To review your current Pell Grant History and Lifetime Eligibility Used, log on to the National Student Loan Data System.
