Assemblies of God Theological Seminary Scholarships and Grants
Thanks to the generous support of friends and donors who are committed to raising up the next generation of Pentecostal leaders, we are pleased to offer the following scholarships and discounts to support you while you are in Seminary.

Pentecostal Leaders Scholarship
The Pentecostal Leaders Scholarship is our largest scholarship program for students pursuing a master’s degree through AGTS. This fund is supported by AGTS alumni, friends and ministry leaders from around the world who are committed to the development of Pentecostal leaders and ministers. Qualifying full-time students can receive up to $3,600 per year (part-time-$1,800). Recipients considered based on the strength of their application for admission. No additional application is required.
Eligibility: 3.0 GPA from bachelor degree-awarding institution
Renewable: Yes, the student must maintain a 3.0 GPA
AG National Office Employee
Springfield-based employees of the AG National Office are eligible for a 50% tuition discount on all master’s level continuing education or resident courses after one year of uninterrupted full-time employment. Spouses are eligible for a 10% discount.
Affiliates and Business/Organizational Partners
We are pleased to offer a tuition discount on master’s degree programs to our local Assemblies of God affiliate employees and our business/organizational partners. This discount may not be combined with other University scholarships.

Church Educational Partners
Members of church education partners can qualify for up to $4,800 through our Pentecostal Leaders Scholarship fund when enrolled full time. To receive the discount, members must apply for admission through the partner application link provided to the church. For more information contact Nik White, AGTS Enrollment Coordinator.
Local Pastors
Senior AG pastors living within a 50-mile radius of Springfield are eligible to audit one resident or continuing education course free of charge per academic year. This discount does not apply to courses taken for graduate credit.
District Officials
Full-time AG district officials are eligible for one free course per academic year. This includes District Youth Directors and Christian Education Directors.
AGTS Graduate Alumni
AGTS graduate alumni are eligible for one free master’s level audit (3 credits) per academic year in the resident program or at any extension site participating in the alumni scholarship program, on a space-available basis.
Endowed and Private Academic Scholarships (Amounts Vary)
Awarded by the AGTS scholarship committee. Scholarships are based on academic standing in your major, financial need or donor-specified criteria.
Eligibility: All students
Requirements: Private and Endowed Scholarship application must be completed annually
Renewable: Scholarships are not automatically renewed. Amounts may increase or decrease depending on department review.
Deadline: Applications open first week of October-January 31.
