A Message From Our Graduate Counseling Program Director

The Evangel University graduate counseling programs are not your typical online experience. Many students are wary of online learning because they don’t want to learn independently and asynchronously. Here at Evangel, our low cost, CACREP-accredited, online graduate counseling courses meet live via Teams for 1.5 hours for every class, every week. That means you get face time with your professors and peers in addition to other communications throughout the week. In some other programs, the courses are only a few weeks long with minimal live interaction. Our programs offers 15-week semesters in the fall and spring to give you time to absorb the material. Our 7-week summer semesters include an on-campus residency to help you connect. Our cohort model and course progression help you walk through each semester with intentionality and purpose. Not only that, our program uses Canvas which gives you the best LMS experience around!

There is a desperate need for clinical mental health counselors and school counselors in communities around the U.S. You can become a part of the solution and enter a growing career without needing to move or uproot your life. We start once a year in mid-June, so it’s best to apply between January and early April. We look forward to having YOU in our program!
