Evangel University and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary accept all types of Veteran’s Administration (VA) benefits as well as Tuition Assistance from the active duty service member’s branch of service. - Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) – If you served on active duty after September 10, 2001, you may qualify for the Post-9/11 GI Bill®.
- Post 9/11 GI Bill® – Transfer of Entitlement (Chapter 33) – If you are a dependent of a service member who served on active duty (or served active duty time while serving in a Reserve or National Guard component) after September 10, 2001, you may qualify for the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. To qualify for this entitlement, your sponsor had to transfer the Post 9/11 GI Bill® to you prior to leaving active duty service.
- Montgomery GI Bill® Active Duty (Chapter 30) – If you served at least 2 years on active duty prior to 9/11/2001, you may qualify for the MGIB-AD.
- Montgomery GI Bill® Selective Reserve (Chapter 1606) – If you are a member of the a reserve component of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Army National Guard, or Air National Guard, you may be eligible for the MGIB-SR.
- Post-Vietnam Era Veteran’s Educational Assistance Program (VEAP, Chapter 32) – If you contributed to the VEAP program ($2 to $1 match) during your military career, you may be eligible for this program.
- Survivor’s and Dependent’s Educational Assistance (DEA) program (Chapter 35) – If you are a dependent spouse or child of a permanently disabled veteran or the surviving spouse or child of a veteran, you may qualify for DEA benefits.
- Veteran Readiness and Employment (Chapter 31) – If you have a service-connected disability that limits your ability to work or prevents you from working, you may qualify for the Veteran Readiness and Employment, also known as VR&E (formerly called Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment). To qualify for this program, you must see a VR&E counselor.
